It is possible to quiet the anxiety spirals.

You can rationalize everything, but you still don't believe it.

There is so much going on in your head all the time it feels like you're not acting normal on the outside.  Like others can see your thoughts, worries, and doubts written all over your face.  So you try to compensate more - to be funny, helpful, keep the conversation going - and all the while berating yourself for all of the stupid things you keep saying and doing.

Are you being too much? Or maybe you're not doing enough? What if he breaks up with you? What if you get fired?

The anxiety spirals circle in your brain until you finally fall asleep, only to wake up - exhausted - to more of the same tomorrow.

Together we will uncover ways to quiet your inner critic and get to know the person she's been drowning out.

It'll take some time and effort, but your thoughts will begin to soften. Together, we'll look at where those thoughts came from, what keeps them so loud, and how to start responding to yourself with the same compassion you give everyone else. I use a combination of approaches including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy and EMDR to navigate our way to the version of you that may feel impossible at the moment, but is in fact entirely achievable.

With me, treating anxiety is more than practicing coping skills. It's healing from the root in order to allow the true version of yourself to show up day after day.

A world map with pink and pastel colors is on the wall behind, and a person's arm in a pink, fluffy sleeve is partially visible at the bottom right corner.
